What are the do's and don'ts while learning swimming?
Do: be patient with yourself. It takes time to learn and can prove harder than you think.
Do: take it progressively - and don’t worry about what to do when you don’t have flotation aids…take it one step at a time.
Don’t: avoid wearing goggles when you’re learning; it can really boost confidence with getting your face wet and mastering breath control.
Don’t: buy tinted goggles if learning in an indoor environment! Underwater can appear scary/daunting. Clear goggles will massively
help to boost your water confidence.
